SUMMER ENGLISH TEACHER REQUIRED: KONYA / TURKEY

Job Description: Teaching English to the students who are generally Turkish workers or collage students of high English level.
Criteria: Preferred to have TESOL or CELTA certificate. Candidate should have the ability to teach English especially speaking and good communication skills with the learners. Candidate should have a clear and distinct accent.
Hours: 30-35 hours per week, 5 days per week with the weekends off. Temporary position for July and August 2016.
Salary: 15 - 20 TL per lesson (usually 40 mins per lesson).
Nationality of staff required: British, European, American, Australian, Canadian / Native English or European.
Start Date: Any time from now onwards.
Length of contract: End of August. Should both sides be happy, a longer contract can possibly be arranged and candidate can continue to work. Temp to perm.

Job Description:
- teaching General and Academic English in accordance with the syllabuses of the school (CEFR levels)
- teaching English in a creative way using communicative approach
- working with Cambridge and Pearson course books
- teaching different age groups (children from 7, teenagers, adults) both individually and in groups
- taking part in social events of the school
Criteria:
- teaching experience is preferable
- CELTA, TEFL, TKT or any equivalents are preferable too
Hours:
-150 academic hours a month (1 academic hour = 40 mins), approx. 7,5 academic hours a day
- working 5 days a week (Sun any other day depending on the schedule)
- 24 days of paid vacation local holidays off
Salary: 1100 USD a month.
Nationality of staff required: Native English speaking countries such as the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia, etc.
Start Date: June-July, 2015 (the sooner, the better).
Length of contract: 1 year (might be prolonged on mutual agreement).
Accommodation: Accommodation is provided by the company (in the city centre, within walking distance from the school).
